OVERDRAFT PROTECTION

Courtesy Pay is an overdraft limit of $400.00 that is automatically assigned to your share draft account after the initial 90 days waiting period on new accounts. It provides you with an added level of protection against unanticipated cash flow emergencies and account reconciliation errors. There is no need to sign up for anything. You also have the right to “Opt” out of this program at any time.

How does it work?

The Courtesy Pay program is a service CCFCU offers to eligible members that will provide a limited amount of overdraft protection from which CCFCU may authorize and pay checks, ACH/electronic items and everyday debit card transactions (subject to certain requirements applicable to debit card transactions) initiated for payment against your eligible checking limit when account funds are not available. That means, instead of returning your check, ACH/electronic item and everyday debit card transactions, we will pay the item (subject to certain requirements applicable to debit card transactions) saving you additional charges from merchants as well as the embarrassment of an overdraft.

How Much does this service cost?

There is no additional cost for this service. However, you'll be charged with our Courtesy Pay fee per transaction.

NOTARY SERVICES

Notary Public Service is available at all our Branch locations during normal lobby hours. Signature Guarantees are only available at our Main Branch. We waive the $10.00 per signature Notary Fee for Emerald and Diamond tier members. We suggest calling ahead and setting an appointment to assure a Notary is available.

TELL-A-PHONE AUDIO RESPONSE & ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS

You don't have to come into one of our branches or run to an ATM to access your Central Coast FCU account... All you need is either a smartphone or a PC connected to the Internet (and we know you have one of those, otherwise you wouldn't be here!). With Audio Response Tell-A-Phone you may verify your account and individual share balances, make loan payments and share-to-share transfers, check account histories, and so on. On any touch-tone phone, you just type in your account number and personal identification number (PIN) in order to access your account 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Online Account Access lets you do everything you can do with Tell-A-Phone and then some. You can order checks, send us secure messages, apply for loans and much, much more! MEMBER CHOICE DEBT PROTECTION

DEBT PROTECTION

Mechanical Breakdown Insurance: The average family drives their car 18,000-20,000 miles per year. Given that many miles driven, your vehicle could be out of its manufacturer's warranty in less than two years! And once that warranty is up you are looking at $435 for a new fuel pump, $675 for a new air conditioner compressor, $2450 for a new transmission...BIG expenses should anything go wrong! You could buy an extended warranty from the dealership- but is that the best deal? The dealer's extended warranty may only be valid if repairs are made at the dealership. It may only cover the drive train (engine and transmission). We offer Mechanical Breakdown Insurance on new and used vehicle financing. Coverage is "bumper to bumper" and you can bring the vehicle to almost any shop for required repairs. Our policies carry additional benefits such as rental, towing, tire, lockout and trip interruption coverage. You get a choice of deductibles and the total premiums can be as low as 1/2 the cost of dealership extended warranties! Call our loan officers for details.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) : This valuable insurance covers the difference of what you owe on your Central Coast FCU auto loan versus what the Blue Book value of the vehicle is. Why purchase GAP insurance? Say you were to get into an accident one year after purchasing your car and the car was totaled. Your insurance company would give you a settlement in the amount of the Blue Book value, regardless of what you owe on your loan. If you owed $20,000.00 and the insurance settlement was $15,000.00 you would be required to continue to make loan payments on that $5,000 difference even though you are no longer in possession of the vehicle. GAP insurance would pay that difference for you! How much is GAP coverage? Only $499.00 for the entire term of the loan (up to 84 months) for both new and used vehicles.

SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES

We offer Safe Deposit Boxes at our Salinas Branch office in three sizes. A small box rental is only $30 a year, mediums are $40 a year and large are only $80 a year. STATEMENTS

All active Credit Union members are at least issued quarterly statements of account. If you have a checking account, direct deposit, loans or have an "electronic" transaction (ATM, Audio Response, Point of Sale, Online Banking) any time during a given month, you will receive a monthly statement. Your statement will list all activities on your account for the statement period, plus year-to-date information on dividends earned and/or interest paid. If you have a checking account, you will receive a list of all checks cleared in both order of clearing and check number order. You can request copies of statements going back as far as six years. TRANSFER FUNDS

Bank-to-Bank Wire Transfers: You may transfer funds to or from any other financial institution in the Federal Reserve Banking system with our Bank to Bank Wire Transfer Service. We send and receive wires twice a day- at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. To transfer to another institution we need that institution's routing and transit number and your account number. Western Union Wires: We offer Western Union Quick Cash service for both domestic and international locations. Anywhere there's a Western Union office your Central Coast Federal funds are available to you! Just give us a phone call during normal business hours and within 45 minutes you'll have as much as you need. International Western Unions may not be available in all countries. Online Bill Payment Service: Our Bill Payment services are offered free of charge to Emerald and Diamond tier members signed up for our Online Account Access service. We designed our Bill Payment service to allow you to pay bills on any day you wish in any amount you wish. You have total control over setting up new payees, modifying existing payees, or deleting old payees. You can even schedule recurring monthly payments. MONEY ORDERS, TELLER & CERTIFIED CHECKS

Money Orders are a safe, convenient way to send money (up to $1,000.00) via US Mail, FedEx, UPS, etc. Diamond members can get free money orders but limited to 3 each month.
